| Re: Avatar Problems Not sure Suzanne, no info to help with. So, I'll review the basics first... Well, there are many sites with avatars, in fact any picture can be used as an avatar, but the simpler the picture the better it will look.... Here's a some of the internet sites with Disney related avatars... http://www.startedbyamouse.com/gallery/avatars.shtml And Disney related Clipart... http://www.geocities.com/mcd316/newindex.html http://clipart.disneysites.com/ http://disneyclipart.tripod.com/ Non-Disney Clipart... http://www.clipartguide.com/ There are probably LOTS more, but those were at the top of my favorites list... Now, to add an avatar to your signature is easy... First, the avatar must be uploaded to a web site. To place the avatar in the avatar box you first go to My Home at the top of the forum. Scroll down to My Personal Information and Preferences Under this you will see; Personal information, e-mail, password, signature, countdown, etc. Edit Click on Edit (at the far right) Scroll to the bottom where you see; There may be multiple choices below for specifying your image. If you are changing your current image, select the radio button next to the option you are using to change your image. Your current avatar:: Will display the avatar you currently have set I no longer want to have an avatar. Click the spot in front of this to not have an avatar... Upload your avatar (80x80 max pixels, may be smaller) (.gif, .jpg, .png accepted) Click the spot in front of this to upload your avatar to the passporter board server... URL to your avatar (80x80 max pixels, may be smaller) (.gif, .jpg, .png accepted) Click the spot in front of this to place the address of your avatar if it is already uploaded to a site on the internet... Use a stock avatar Click on the spot in front of this to use one of the "stock: avatars available on Passporter. If you use this one then click on the Change link to view the available avatars to select from... When you're done, click on the Submit button at the bottom to save your changes... Clear as mud still??? If you need help, let us know and we'll do what we can... |

| Re: Avatar Problems I thought that's what I WAS doing!! I have avatars and pictures saved onto my hard drive, and when I click on "Browse" that's where I'm taken, I click on one of those and text appears in the box, but when I post, it's vanished!Does that give you any ideas as to what I am doing wrong Bill? Thanks! |
