Just wondering if someone can help me with the Quicksilver membership. Is it true that if you are a member of Quicksilver, you can go straight to the parking garage without waiting in line at a counter in the terminal at Orlando. Is anyone else a member of Quicksilver? Please let me know where you go to confirm your reservation. Thanks a bunch.
I'm a Quicksilver member but don't use the kiosks. Mostly I use the online check-in which saves me from waiting in line. However, there's a catch.
It's been my experience that if you use a coupon then you can't use the Quicksilver kiosks or the online check-in. Discount codes sometimes allow me to use the online check-in, but not always. If I can check-in online, then all I have to do is go straight to the garage, pick out a car and give my printed reservation to the gate attendant.
If I have a coupon / discount code and can't check-in online, then there is (or was?) a desk for Quicksilver members to check-in directly. DME has worked so well for us that it's been a year since I've needed to rent a car.
Hope this helps!

Yes, I am a Disney Addict... and I'd rather be cruising!.
With Alamo you dont have to stand in line at all just check in online and you will get notification to go pick out your car upon arrival. We have not gone to the check in desk on any of our trips over the years and don't use Quicksliver
