After reading another post about Airtran canceling a flight, I decided to check ours online. Sure enough, can't find our flight from Midway to MCO. I called Airtran and she said that flight had been canceled, but we hadn't been rebooked yet. I didn't get any e-mail or anything about this. So we rebooked and now are leaving at 8:00 instead of 9:00 - kind of stinks because we have to get DBF's son up even earlier now, but on the bright side we'll be arriving an hour earlier too. They only have 1 non-stop in the am so we don't exactly have a lot of choices. Just goes to show being a planner and checking things multiple times really does pay off.
Really the worst part was I filled in my travel pocket already...in ink!
My flight was also changed with Airtran and I wasn't notified either - with any airline you have to keep checking to make sure there are no changes or you might have a nasty surprise on your travel days!

I think the same thing has just happened to us and I'm afraid to call and hear it. Our morning flight is off the schedule for our date, and every day within a week both days--like it doesn't exist.
Our options on other airlines are bad, very bad at this point. 2-3x what we paid for these tix. And to think if I'd just waited to book with JetBlue their rates were the same when first released (now they've gone way up). My parents are gonna kill me.
ooooohhh I just checked my flight for Nov. and they changed my flight without even telling me! I hope this isn't going to keep happing as the date gets closer.
Can you get a refund if you don't find a rebooking flight that will work for you?
I was told yes when I called on Saturday about the original changes. The changes weren't major so I accepted them, but now we're on the only non-stop flight out of the day so I asked what would happen if that flight gets cancelled and we get put on a connection--the rep said that if the new flight doesn't work for the customer they'll issue a refund. This is my first experience with Airtran so I hope that's how it really works.
I am so ill about AirTran... they've canceled the daily nonstop flight from Charlotte to MCO. They have had one nonstop each day for over the past year and now it's gone. And we had planned on flying them in August but not anymore....
How do you find out if your flight has been canceled? We are flying from Midway to Orlando in Sept. and I just checked the Airtran website and tried to book a flight for the same day as ours and our flight didn't come up. I'm wondering if the flight is full or canceled.
Okay......dear friend just informed me that her flights were booked through WDW travel co and they are informing her of all of the changes. Whew! At least by booking through WDWTC, she has confidence she will get there! Call them and see if they can help you!
