i don't know about the ebay thing or even how you legitimately get one, but i know that the triple diamond aaa parking gives you like front-row(s) parking at the parks. i am sure one of our other friends here can fill you in more appropriately.
Are you serious? On Ebay? How much do they ask for them? You get them free when you purchase your tickets through AAA,a nd they entitle you to closer parking. We used ours quite a bit, the MGM parking was great, Epcot was OK, AK was OK, didn't use it at MK because you still needed to take the ferry or the monorail.
I'm going to buy one on ebay its only 10.00 even though we stay at POP I still take the car to the parks once in awhile so I think I would be worth it just check the black out dates and make sure its not when your there...
It specifically says on the parking pass "non-transferable and void if sold". I don't know how they would figure out that you weren't the actual one to receive the pass, though.
I think that there will come a time when AAA decides that these passes should not be sold on Ebay and repeal this perk. Then those of us that have enjoyed it legitamately will no longer be able to use it.
I had one and used it for our trip a few weeks ago and it definitely came in handy. I booked our trip through AAA. It is not good at the water parks and there are blackout dates. We used it at all four parks. Typically it gets you into special parking just a little bit further away from the gates than the handicapped lots. For MK it works at the TTC, and you are really close to the Monorail and the ferry's at the TTC. It is really worth having, and if you are not an AAA member and you are contemplating a WDW trip, why not consider joining AAA? The discount you get on the trip alone would pay for the AAA membership.
The pass is not that big a deal, in my opinion. Twice we had them and really didn't bother using them. With the trams it didn't seem to make much difference, unless you plan to walk to your car.
If you are actually going to buy one of these, I would be very cautious, since if you were to be asked to show your AAA card as well you would not be able to; nor could you use it if it is dated or marked in some way that indicates it belongs to someone other than you.
I agree that sooner or later Disney and/or AAA will figure out a way to stop the selling of the parking passes and you would then just lose whatever you paid for it. They have already closed the MK office where we used to enjoy a free drink and the nice quiet restroom, so there is nothing to stop them from removing this perk without notice.

You are not asked to show a AAA card. I used my Diamond Parking Pass this past August and you just put on your dashboard and leave it there. No one looks at it at all. That's the positive if you are thinking about getting one. The negative is that the parking was not as close as they make you think. If you don't get to the park very very early you have to walk a long distance to the entrance. Especially at Animal Kingdom. After a few times we started just parking in the regular parking and taking the tram which lets you off right at the front gate. At the end of the day when your feet are hurting you, the walk to the Diamond Parking area is a killer.
