Anyone have to cancel a flight?
We have to cancel our Dec trip but have our flights booked with Jet Blue. Has anyone ever had to cancel a nonrefundable ticket? I know that there is a cost associated with having to cancel or change a ticket of $100 but is this per leg? Would I be asses a $200 fee per ticket, $100 each way or is it $100 for the entire ticket?
I hate to have to make adult decisions but I just can't take DD out of school again even for 2 1/2 days after I have told her how important her schooling is.
I'm not sure of the answer....we cancelled a trip to Vegas a couple of years ago, flying with Frontier. They gave us credit for the entire amount and we had a year from purchase date to use it.

I needed to cancel once with Jet Blue but I only needed to cancel a one way ticket for one person. Since the leg of the trip on Jet Blue only cost me $119 and I found the one way airfare for under $100 elsewhere it wasn't worth trying to use the credit for me so I just didn't use it. Sorry I'm no help here and sorry you have to cancel your trip
i think it is only 100.00 per ticket just give a quick call and ask jet blue or hopefully someone with more experience will be able to ansawer this for you .
And sorry you have to canceal was looking too say hi again
Sorry you have to cancel. I believe they charge $100 per ticket -- so if you bought the fare as a round trip it would be $100 total but if you bought two one-ways then I think they'd get 'ya for the $100 on each leg. Good luck!
