We flew Continental a little over two years ago. Our planes were on time and we had no issues. We booked about eleven months in advance and we did have some flight changes though. Our flights were direct so I can't say much on layovers.

We have flown Continetal a few time and the have been very good. We are flying with them again in November. That is if they have not changed to United by then.
We are from Houston, which is Continental's main hub, so we fly Continental all the time. I would say that their service and on-time record is generally very good. I have only flown with them once since the United merger and, so far as I could tell, not much has changed yet. I know that they have not completely merged operations yet either, and I'm not sure when that will happen.

My son who lives in and went to undergrad in Houston, flies Continental into Logan all the time. It is a direct flight and takes around 4 hours, compared with 6+ for a flight with a stop into MHT.
He has seldom had a problem related to Continental and it was generally on time although he does tend to get the first flight in and out. When he came home last time, after the merger, the biggest difference was there was no longer food service.
My DSis jsut flew from LaGuardia to Houston for DS's engagement party and was thrilled that they let her change flights to get out of NYC before a storm.
The only negative is that they charge for baggage.

We've flown Continental several times. Generally their fares and service are good, but they have changed flight times on us. That being said, they were good about notifying us of the changes vs. Delta, which switched our flights and didn't tell us!
I'm not sure about from Canada however I've never had an issue with Continental and I've flown with them at least 20 times. I used to love Delta but the last time I flew was so horrible, I really can't deal with them any more. (luggage incident, seating problem, horrible customer service). I also do not like American Airlines in general, they have a horrible track record with timeliness to Orlando. Although I have been delayed flying Continental, not horribly and never had a problem with customer service for sure. Have a great trip.

We actually fly for the States even though we live in Canada. Canadian airlines are far too expensive!! We would pay $500 to $800 to fly from our city. I appreciate the info! We flew delta once, I agree it was horrible

We have also booked Continental for our Alaska trip.... this will be my first time flying continental also....
We booked with them too for our Alaska trip. In and out of Seattle. My parents have flown with them a few times and we flew to Las Vegas with them a couple of years ago. No problems at all. I got their OnePass Visa a couple of months ago and used it to book our flights so we'll each get 1 free checked bag on our flights.
We are from Nova Scotia Canada, and my preferred airline is Continental! Friendly attendants and pilots make for a great journey. They are pretty much always on time, and their costs are low. They say they charge for baggage, but I've never actually been charged, hehehe. I completely recommend them over others!
