We are not quite booked yet for our vacation, trying for this summer just waiting until we pay our annual dues I have been checking southwest for a while and have seen the prices go from $100 to $146 each way mostly in the $146 I just checked again and they are showing all of July and August at the $100 range. My question is...how long do you think it will stay at that rate? We need to book our room first and we are fairly flexible on travel can go anytime in july and the first three weeks in august, dd is going away for her first year of colleg? Any advice? ps.....I SO just want to book it ALL!!!!!

I've seen SW change their airfare on a fairly regular basis. You might find it high for a while then go low again. Just keep watching and if you see a price you like, once your room is booked, grab those tickets! Keep watching after you buy and if the price goes down, you can get a credit! You just have to use the credit within one year of your original purchase date.
whew! I will keep checking! I was so tempted to just do it all now (actually on dvc website looking to book..lol) but hubby is not home so feel like it's not a good idea...thanks I didn't know about the credit!

I just got off southwest I have also been looking for round trip for August to Florida and I just saw 130.00 depart (for time I would like) and 130.00 to 165 returning ( again for the time I want) ..wondering how your seeing $100.00 ??:....I was holding out for a price better than 150.00 one way..finally seeing it..
The best I found was $100 for departure from Islip to MCO at 6am which is fine with us and the best price for return is $123 which leaves at 8pm there are $100 flights that day but we that was too early for us. They are nonstop too which we like. What airport are you leaving from?

Hartford is typically more expensive than Islip if the poster from CT is leaving from there. I am in MA and will look as far as Islip even tho it is a 3.5 hour drive. If the difference in airfare is worth the drive I would go that far! But it would have to be a pretty big difference to cover the cost of time, gas and tolls. (The bridge alone is up to $12 round trip now - with a transponder! ) But $100 per person cheaper RT is worth it to me if there is more than just me going.
Well if you do leave from Islip just park your car at my house and I will drive you to the airport (about 10 minutes away) lol! that would save you more $$$
