Has anyone ever done this before? They are offering a free gift card if I do it. I was just wondering if it's easy and won't change anything on my reservation.
I'm mostly concerned about the airfare and such.
TIA for any help......

Disney Guru is a travel agent, blogger, and on social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. WDW guests who have booked through Disney travel are wooed and offered gift cards and other things to sign up with them. I am using Guru Kelly for my next trip. It is unethical and frowned on for an agent to take a client from another agent but taking from Disney is fair game. I recommend Disney Guru Kelly and plan to use her for my trip to WDW then will switch to other friends, got a line of over a dozen travel agents wanting to book my trips.
Nothing will change as far as your airline and resort reservations. Just you will now have a travel agent. Sometimes you can save money by switching from Disney Travel company to an agent such as Kelly.

Mom calls to check on me and reminded me to pay the gardener. I love her so much.
Disneyland was fun with flag retreat and pickles. I have a home here, thank you. GAC is NOT a "front of the line pass".
She is gone but keeping signature. Laundry is getting done. My purpose in life is to help poor people in FL. Farewell, will miss you.
I booked through WDW travel company so I wouldn't be taking a reservation away from another travel agent. I'm looking forward to using her. Especially since she got back to me so quickly today.

I believe that's WDW Guru. They're a travel agent that's offering a Disney Gift Card to folks who transfer their Walt Disney Travel Company reservation to the agency.
The "issue," if one exists, is that you're starting a relationship with a particular travel agent. Whenever you transfer your reservation to an agent (any agent), any subsequent changes/modifications to the reservation and contact with Disney regarding the reservation would have to be done through that agent. It pays to check out the agency before making this decision, and talk to the agent. You should select someone who is knowledgeable, responsive, easy to work with, and is able to enhance your trip planning activities. You should also obtain information about agency licensing and affiliations (I find none mentioned on this particular agent's site). Any gift offered should be gravy, rather than the motivation for the decision.
A fair number of agencies offer some sort of gift if you book Disney reservations through the agency, though it's more common to see that for Disney Cruise Line reservations, as the commission percentage is higher on cruise bookings. The agencies get commission from Disney, so offering some sort of reward for your patronage (to either establish a new relationship or maintain an existing relationship) would seem to be a good investment on the agency's part.
There are many fine, reputable agencies who do this - it's a competitive business, and quality service alone may not be enough to distinguish one from the other. I can't vouch for this particular agency, as I have no familiarity. By all means, check them out, and see what other offers you may find out there. If everything looks good for this agency, you'll probably do fine. (There's always a risk - that's why states license travel agents.)
