I am pretty sure you can still do that! I know that you would need your boarding passes, so I can't imagine why you couldn't get the resort to print them for you. However you might have to go to Guest Services/concierge.
I am using Magical Express to go home- I don't know what airline I am going home on, because I have yet to get my tickets. (Our trip isn't til June)
I am sure someone else can confirm what I have said.
If you let them know you are using RAC they will automatically print up your boarding passes and have them for you the morning you leave. There is a number given for you to call to pay any baggage fees. It's unbelievable how easy it is!
Hubby and I did it at Pop one year we had only carry on though so do not know about luggage. It was great cause when we got to the airport the counter area was full of people so we were lucky only had to go to security area which was also packed. I think we would of missed our plane that trip if we had to stand to get our tickets only 2 security check points were running and it was horrible trying to get thru there. Worst time ever.

Love the Magic of Disney Thanks Dad for our first 5 trips.
Yes, you can use RAC even if you are not taking DME. We fly on a participating airline so we check our bags with RAC in the AM, then just drive our rental car back to the airport.
Now we use DME both ways, and also use RAC.
