I know one of the big criticisms of Delta is that they change flights. A lot.
DD and I are flying Delta to Washington DC this summer (we live in Mpls -- they practically own our airport).
In the time since I booked my ticket, I've gotten three emails from Delta telling me that my itinerary has changed. The emails all say that the change has been bolded. But... Nothing has been bolded in any of them.
And I've printed the emails to compare to my original plans. The flight times haven't changed either. I can't figure out why they've sent me three emails about "changes" that don't exist.
Delta changed our flight time 3 times prior to our trip last September. Fortunately, the final time winded up being only about 20 minutes later than what I'd originally booked.

Perhaps the type of email you use isn't as compatible with the Delta fonts as some? Whenever I get these emails from them, the flights that have changed are always in bold as opposed to the flights that have no changed. (Maybe if you just have one flight each way, and they have both changed then the bold isn't recognizable?) I actually just got one a couple days ago and my flight time on one of my flights had changed by - wait for it - 1 minute. I guess better safe than sorry! LOL
I have never flown Delta and when I booked our August trip we ended up going with them. I booked my flight through Disney when I booked my package. Will I still get emails from Delta if my flights change? I hope so because I get really nervous about missing changes and I love the convenience of booking all components through WD Travel......

I'm not sure about booking through Disney, but don't get too worried about Delta. They have a tendency to make a lot of small changes (like 15 min here, 20 min there). If it's something you think you'll worry about though, just make yourself a note on your calendar to check your reservation online once a month or so, so you'll be up to date even if you don't get the emails.

I agree. I'm used to the notices for miniscule changes. As if changing from 7:18 to 7:20 will change the time I arrive at the airport. Which is why this email with no change at all had me so baffled.
Simply stated, "Delta stinks." I've lived near the Northern Ky airport my whole life. Delta has had a lock on it (calling it a hub). We have never been able to lure any inexpensive airlines to this area. Delta seems to run them off. And Delta's prices here in Cincy are among the highest.
I am a Delta fan, but the past 2 days have not made me very pleased with them at all. A few days ago I have an email for change, ok no biggie times are within 10 min. Then I noticed they changed all of our seats. very frustrating for a party of 7. Then today I get a phone call, they some how misplaced or lost my DH info and spent another hoe many minutes trying to get everything in place. At least they are doing this 40 days before our flight vs the day of/
I am a Delta fan as well, but yes they do tend to make a lot of changes. The thing I like about them is that when I've had problems they have always fixed them up no problem and without argument like I have experienced so many other times with other airlines.
