Sorry, this is a Delta question, but I know a few of you have mentioned the $99 companion fare before...
When we signed up for the Delta American Express card a year ago, this was one of the benefits, that around the 1 year anni of being a member, you would receive a $99 companion fare. It has now been a year and I just got last month's statement and I didn't see it -- I'm thinking some sort of certificate -- good for the $99 fare. Is this something I need to call and inquire about or give it another statement or two?
Also, when you use the companion fare, do they limit you to how you may use it? I mean, I'm expecting for DH to pay full fare, then I use the $99 fare, but we have enough miles to cover one of our daughter's tickets. I'm just wondering if they'll be like "sorry, only one coupon per transaction" or that sort of thing.

It won't come with your statement. It's mailed separately.
As I recall, you won't get it until after your annual fee is billed. No surprise there, huh ?
Recently we've used ours on trips where only two of us were flying.
I believe folks have reported that you can book one full price ticket, one voucher ticket and one miles ticket together. I'm not quite sure how, since I think there's a different login for award tickets than for the voucher purchase. (Award tickets are a Delta program, the companion voucher registers as a cardholder benefit.) I'm pretty sure Benjiboo has done it recently if you want to ask her how it worked.
Make sure your primary cardholder is listed as the paying passenger so that AmEx's free checked bag benefit applies to the pair of travellers on the same itinerary.
