I'm back home from a wonderful week in Disney - we've been going since my DD was born and this was our 9th trip as a family and it was the best one yet! Kids were more adventurous so we tried new things, they were able to last much longer and we stayed in the parks late and did lots of nighttime activities. It was a perfect family vacation and now I have to wait a whole year before I go back
I'm all too familiar with the post Disney blues. I always busy myself getting back into a routine and once the catch up chaos is over at work, I jump into planning the next one. It works like a charm!
I'm already planning - just gotta wait for my 11 month mark to book my resort! I need to find a countdown ticker I'm thinking of renewing wedding vows next year too
I'm glad Passporter has a support group for the very real disease of Disney Blues
Renewing wedding vows at WDW? That would be wonderful!
The post WDW always hit me hard. They start to creep on while I am actually still there! During our last day of touring I always start to feel it coming on.
Funny how that happens to us too. Some trips are great and others are just....meh. Glad to hear that you had a great trip!!

So glad your trip was great! I agree with everyone else - start planning the next one and the great memories will take the place of the blues. I think the planning is almost as much fun as the trip - almost!

We all suffer from a Disney addiction here. So we totally understand. A Disney addiction is better than most & maybe worse than others. It's not a cheap addiction but much healthier than some alternatives. A Disney addiction is still difficult to cope with when we return home & have to come down from our high. MY DH threatens to send me to the local rehab clinic or stage an intervention the next time we come home & I mope around for too long. I doubt that they would admit me to detox on the diagnosis of a "Disney addiction".
On the other hand maybe they should. I think if I even had to be away from these Disney boards for too long, I might suffer from some serious withdrawal.

Planning a trip to WDW is like planning a wedding... If you expect things to be flawless, you will be sadly disappointed. If you know that there will be less than perfect times & decide to just laugh them off, then you will be excited when you find the magic all around you.
