DME for a one night stay?

Kat and I are taking a DCL cruise. Steve is staying home so we're relying on transportation as I won't drive, which is proving more stressful than I thought.

I have one night pre-cruise and two post in Orlando. Is there any reason why I can't book a one night WDW stay and use DME from MCO, before taking the cruise bus to the port?

I don't recall reading of a minimum stay requirement to use DME, but I might have missed something.

Thanks,

I think you could do that. I have never seen anything that says you must stay a certain number of nights/days to use DME.

As long as you have a reservation to stay at one of the WDW resorts, you can use DME.

I agree, to my knowledge there has never been a minimum stay requirement. I would take advantage and book it!

Have you considered staying at the Hyatt at the airport the night before your cruise? Might take a lot of stress off the transportation department. Then head to WDW after your cruise.

We used DME the night before our cruise last Thanksgiving and it worked out very well. We stayed one night at SSR, used DME to get from MCO to resort. Then used the DCL transportation from SSR to the Port.

We did 2 nights at BLT after the cruise - and used the DCL transportation back to WDW then DME back to MCO.

Hope it is a great trip!!

Yes - I have looked into that - thing is our flights get into MCO at 3pm or so, and we have APs so it seems a shame not to use them. If we had been arriving any later, I would definitely have booked the Hyatt.

Ahh yes, that makes sense! I would definitely go on to Disney and enjoy the parks that night!
