I hate, hate, HATE booking airfare, so I'm SOOOOO glad it's done. I had to pay more than I wanted to, but there just isn't much you can do when it comes to airfare. I did book through Orbitz, so if it goes down I'll get a credit voucher. Maybe it'll go down enough I can get a big enough voucher to add a short weekend trip or something! LOL! I'm not hopeful, but that would certainly make me feel better about it! ANYHOO, there's no going back now b/c there is NO WAY I would lose that much $$! Happy Sunday everyone!
Enjoying the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot on the second Disney World portion of our Disney Dream and Walt Disney World vacation. The pre-trip report for our forthcoming Alaskan cruise on the Wonder and our return to Disneyland has now started.
Congrats on getting your airfare! I am a little neurotic/ OCD when it comes to airfare. I go online all the time and check rates!! Sometimes it's a bad thing... as in it lead to a trip we weren't even supposed to take because one day r/t air for 2 of us
was only $239.20, and somehow DH said yes!!
I have to wait until I get the US Visa's sorted out before I can book our airfare!! I also Check everyday I can!!! Congrats on getting yours sorted. We are flying from South Africa so I cannot wait until I can make the choice and do the payment to get it done!!
Where are you flying out of? Also if you don't mind what did you pay? Because this is the part i hate too.....its sooooo Nerve Wrecking!!!!
Nope, I don't mind at all! We ended up paying right at $400 pp/rt. OUCH! That's almost as much as I had to pay last March to fly down for earmarked conference! We fly out of Wichita, Ks. It's a pretty small airport, so we don't have as many carriers to choose from. However, we did look into flying out of OKC or KC, but it wasn't any better out of those, either. At least it's done now. I started getting freaked out b/c it started creeping up on me and dh just wanted me to go ahead and do it so I'd stop worrying about it. LOL!
