Why do I have 3 different confirmation numbers from SWA?
A couple of weeks ago SWA opened up their dates of travel to August 9th - the day we want to leave for Disney. Because I didn't want to wait and I was using points anyway (not cash/credit card) I bought our tickts. It was all one transaction but I noticed each ticket had it's own confirmation number when I received my confirmation emails (one for each ticket). Why is that, does anyone know? And when it comes time to check in online, do I have to check in 3 separate times, once for each confirmation number? It seems kind of stupid to me as that means by the time I get everything checked in, we won't have boarding passes near each other. And with a child involved , it's not too bright on SWA's part (IMO) to have different confirmation numbers on each ticket.
Is it three people flying. If so, it probably a different number for each person. Each ticket is separate, so that if, with SW's generous reticketing process, one could not go, it is separate for a future use credit. That is my guess.

I heard somewhere Darlene that when using points, it does divide the tickets into seperate confirmation #, it has to do with using the points. I don't remember why, but I have read that somewhere.
As far as having a child, there is no guarentee with SW that you would be able to sit together even if it were one confirmation #. They do family boarding for people with kids 4 and under...other than that you're on your own.
When I've paid for tickets on SWA, I've had one confirmation number for the entire family. When using credits/points, it has given a different confirmation number for each family member. You will have to check in separately for each confirmation number. It does make it a bit more complicated when doing the online check in!

It is a pain to check in with the different confirmation numbers, like MrsM said. What I do is open three windows and sign on for each confirmation number about 10 minutes before I can check in. I shrink each window so that all 3 can be seen on the screen. Then, when the magic time hits, I hit the checkin button on each screen, one right after the other. While this may not be the best way, it has worked for me. Good luck!

I didn't think to do that - I like that idea. Now let's just hope I remember next year if we can come up with all the money we need to go.
Lenny being in a scooter, you should be able to board early with him. Not sure how you get that pass, but I am sure that can be taken care of when you check in with your luggage.
