Well after a wonderful 6 days and 85º weather, I'm back to 45º and rain!! We did have one day of rain, on EE Epcot Friday, put on the poncho's and went! Test Track was closed due to the galvanized steel track! Tap.of Nations Parade & Illumanations were wonderful..I can't begin to stress how important it is for all of you to see Fantasmic...It was FANTASIC!! And as always, the Main Street Electric Parade was just great! Arrived on a Thurs. the 13th at the CBR, every wish was granted to me, except got an upstairs room instead of 1st floor..din't get the fridge thou', now they are 10bucks a nite, so we bought a syrofoam cooler at Goodings instead!...Touring on Thurs, Fri and Sat. wasn't too bad, but by Sunday the crowds got unbearable with Easter week and all...Hope Laura Bell is surviving..she's got great weather..
Will write more later...very tired now.

Glad to hear you had a great time. Which island did you stay at in CBR? Was this your first time at CBR? If so, what did you think of the resort? We will be there in Dec & its our first time at CBR. Thanks for any info and again, welcome back!

A dream is a wish your heart makes....
WDWLovers-The CBR is just great, I can't say enough about the place...This is my second time there, once before in April of 96'. We asked for Aruba or Jamaica, and got Aruba, our building was #51 on the 2nd floor, with a courtyard view(cheaper than waterview) ..but one nite we were able to watch the fireworks from Illumanations around 9, from the chairs on the porch! The quiet pool was nice and open till midnight that week..the main pool(very crowded with lots of kids)closed at 11. We ate at the Captains tavern on our last night, I had a Roast Pork Loin with a Pineapple Chutney! The outer edge was very spicy, but I cut around it, about $17- Food in the Food Court was great too! Double CB & fries-$4.99, Single CB w/fries-$3.99 Used our mugs and got sodas, ice tea & I even made ice coffees too. I brought a zip-lock bag of coffee & filters from home with me, so I could make coffee in the room, while I showered in the morning.(saved$$) We bought a small styrofoam cooler at Goodings the first night(only $6.99-as it's $10.00 per night for a fidge in your room now, only 5.00 -4 years ago!)for beers & milk/coffee creamers & juice boxes for the kids, but you can get creamers at the food court too. We also bought muffins @ Goodings & I brought another zip-lock bag of Cheereio's for the kids breakfast. My friend had a couple of drinks at the pool bar,3-4bucks for a Bud, so we had some in our cooler.
We did not use Disney buses as we had a rental car this week..We did go to the Boardwalk & Contempary & used the free Valet parking, and just had to tip the drivers..
We did use the Disney Boats however, commuting to and from River Country and Epcot.
The CBR is very tropical, green & full of beautiful flowers, including big Magnoila trees! The rooms are a good size, with 2 double beds, but I wish the bath could be bigger, only a toliet & tub/shower, double sinks are in a adjoning area, with Mickey shampoo & soaps provided. Even the chambermaid was great, she had all of your shoes lined up under a seat next to the tv/armoire one day, the room was all neat & tidy, but my daughter was missing her stuffer Tigger we had bought the previous nite! We looked all around and found him on the floor near the bathroom door, with the roll of toilet paper streaming down and he was holding the end of the roll in his mouth! We both laughed so hard..& we tipped her well!
e-mail me if you would like me to copy some info for you, maps, menus etc. and I'd be glad to send them to you....debbi

Thanks for the great info about CBR! This is our second trip to WDW. The first one was in 1987 and we stayed off property. We will be staying at CBR this time (June 5th-10th) and thought it looked really nice and cheerful! Can't wait to go!
