I don't know why but tipping is always stressful for me. I'm always afraid I'm going to give too little, or not give it when I should etc. So, I want to double check on this one. When do I tip my Quicksilver driver. I had planned to give him 20% (is this right?) Do I give it to him when we get to Wilderness Lodge-- then what do I do when he takes us back to airport? Do I tip again then? Do I give 20% each time, or 10% each time-- sorry, this is a first for me, and I don't know what to do!! Thanks!!
I would tip 10% each time (if the driver diserves it). I'm taking Tiffany Town Car (3rd time) Our round trip total is $95, so I will tip the driver $10 when arrive at our distination (the resort or the airport). The driver would get out of the towncar and get all of your luggage, then take care of the bill. Once that is done, I will shake their hand and give them the tip. The last time that we used Tiffany, the driver was very excited about recieving a $10. I wonder how many people do not tip?
That's what we do too. Tip 10% each way b/c you often have a different driver. Sometimes we do tip a little more for stuff like a ridiclous amount of luggage(1st trip w/ DS) or extra long( only 10 minutes) at grocery stop. Figure on the 10% but if the driver surpasses your expectations give him a little more.
I get really stressed about tipping also! We tipped a little more than 10% for each part of the trip, just because our bags were very heavy and we re-scheduled our pick-up times several times.
I would agree. 10% each way, because we had a different driver both ways and ended up tipping the first driver too much cause we thought we would have him again.
I would tip the 10% too, and maybe a little extra if I am getting valuable information from a driver. Sometimes they will give you "inside" information about where you are going, especially if you want to eat offsite. Looks like you are leaving soon! Have a wonderful time!
I usually tip but only if the service warrants it. If I get a driver who isn't helpful, then I have no qualms about not tipping. Normally, this hasn't been a problem and I tip them $10 after they get my luggage out at the resort and $10 upon arrival, again after they have handled my baggage.
