Where to buy gas on way to airport?

We have a rental car and need to fill up on way back to the airport. We'll be coming from Shades of Green/MK area to Epcot Center Drive to 536/417. If we fill up at the Car Care Center just outside of the MK will it still show 'Full' when we get to the airport or do we need to find one closer? Where do you fill up?

Re: Where to buy gas on way to airport?

There's a gas station on Osceola Parkway just before the on-ramp to 417 on the way to the airport from WDW that I've used to fill the tank on my rental car a few times. I haven't been charged for not having a fill tank.
I think if you top the tank off before heading to the airport you will be fine.. the trip to the airport is only about 20 miles and the fuel gauge should still be right near "F".

We stopped at John Young Parkway one time, it's about halfway to the airport off of 417.

We stay off site and fill up south of disney. We've never had a problem with the return.

Re: Where to buy gas on way to airport?

I've always filled up on property near Epcot at Hess. We return the car near full and have no issues.

Some companies will give you the car with 1/4 tank of gas and that's what they want in return. I can't think of which ones, but I know I've done it before.

Re: Where to buy gas on way to airport?

We fill up on property by DTD and head straight for the airport. Just make sure that it is definately near full as you can be. I have hear of car rental places charging you for a full refill of the tank even if there is still 3/4 left!

Re: Where to buy gas on way to airport?

The exit from 417 to Orlando International is Boggy Creek. At the bottom of the exit ramp take a right (instead of left to the airport) and about a mile or so down the road is a Circle K convience store that has gas pumps. That's where we fill up on the way back.

Re: Where to buy gas on way to airport?

We filled up last summer at Sam's Club on 192 ... by far the cheapest gas available at the time. It is close to Boggy Creek airboat rides.
