| Need help from CT passporters or Western MA passporters... For those of you who have flown out of Hartford/Springfield at Bradley Airport I need some help especially for the time in Mid December! I need to purchase airfare for my upcoming trip. SOuthwest has a fare of 109 each way. Problem is I'm used to paying 49 or 59 each way as we travel usually early to mid may. What fares have you gotten out of Bradley in Mid December? Is 109 a good fare or is that a higher end cost? I just don't know what I should be expecting never flown in December before. TIA Amy |

| Re: Need help from CT passporters or Western MA passporters... Amy, I've noticed the flights on Southwest have been higher this year for Manchester NH. My flight down is $99 and the return flight just came in at $135!!!! I purchased both flights, and now I'm hoping for a ding fare for a future trip. The ding fares have been anywhere between $39 and $59 for each way. If you are planning any future flights, I would purchase the $109 flight and use a future credit if it comes up. If not, and your flight times are flexible try waiting for a ding... but you may have to wait for October before you'll see a ding for a December flight. |

| Re: Need help from CT passporters or Western MA passporters... Hi Amy, We haven't flown in December but out of Hartford, we've never paid more than $59 each way and out of Providence, no more than $49 each way. We have flown in August, September, October, June and February. I told my DH that I was waiting for the flights in December to come down to $59 and then I would buy and hope for the $42 Ding. Hopefully it will happen. Are you close enough to fly from Providence? We always find it cheaper to fly from there. | Re: Need help from CT passporters or Western MA passporters... Amy we flew to MouseFest 2 years ago and we booked the $109/way flight but were able to get credits for future flights as the fare did go down. I make myself crazy every trip comparing costs on airlines but have never been able to beat SouthWest since they came to Bradley. |

| Re: Need help from CT passporters or Western MA passporters... Amy we've flown out the last two Decembers. Both times one leg was $49 and the other leg was $79. I think you'll end up with a DING to bring it down from the $109. |

| Re: Need help from CT passporters or Western MA passporters... Personally, I would jump on $109.00 each way! Airfare in general, is much higher than it used to be. It is anyone's guess whether it will continue to go higher or go lower. I am currently looking at prices for an upcoming February trip to WDW (out of Hartford or Providence)and the lowest I have seen (on Delta) is about $340.00 for a direct flight. Good Luck.
