Taking Greyhound Bus to WDW I wanted to thank the several people who tried to help answer my question about getting to WDW from the Orlando Greyhound depot. I took the bus to WDW in April and tried Mears and other limo service - too expensive. I'll be arriving about 10 PM and Lynx is too hard. I have 2 more weeks before I go so if anyone comes up with another solution, please let me know otherwise it will be a taxi. Thank you.

Re: Taking Greyhound Bus to WDW Unfortunately, it sounds like you've ruled out all the other options except for a taxi. Given the time of night you'll be travelling, a taxi probably won't be that expensive as there shouldn't be that much traffic. However, normally it works out to be cheaper to use a town car service than it does to go the taxi route. Joy

Re: Taking Greyhound Bus to WDW Yes, be sure to get an estimate from a taxi company before you decide that is the best option. Since you'll be on the meter, distance is a big consideration (time spent in traffic only costs you money when the cab is at a complete stop). Shuttles and towncars charge a flat rate, and generally will be as cheap or cheaper than a taxi.

Re: Taking Greyhound Bus to WDW I agree with Joy. If there is any traffic the taxi will become significantly more than a town car. The town car is probably the cheaper option.
