| I have two suggestions. About clearing customs once you get to Orlando, contact your airlines and then call DME using the phone number I gave in the last post. That is the only way you will know for certain. |

| If you have booked with DME, then Disney will probably express mail your special baggaage tags to you. If you booked thru a travel agent then you need to talk to them.

We did not arrive until 4PM but I think it really depends if you want your luggage that night or the next day. Either way, Disney is usually nothing but very accommodating and will only bring your bags that late if you let them know the late delivery is okay. Packing the necessities in a carryon is the ideal choice. Hopefully, this next time I arrive I won't have the fluke again!

| I am definitely packing my pajamas and anything else I would need in my carry on bag. My sister got DME for our trip to the resort and most likely we'll use it the day we depart from Orlando, too. I might even grab my own suitcase and not let them take it..... I'm not even sure of the arrival at the airport time on May 10th. Thanks for posting the information on the first page. I emailed this thread to my sister. |

| I've just read the posts with interest and now I have a question about DME for international travellers. We are going to WDW in December, so ages yet but I like to be prepared! I know that we have to get our bags from the carousel and then clear customs. Does anyone know what happens after that? Do they still go on a truck or do we take them on the bus with us? I don't mind taking them on the bus but it would be nice not to have to. |

If you are at Orlando International you will have to go to Level 1, Section S (as in SAM) for the DME Desk and you would do that as soon as you deplane, they will then direct you to the bus you need to board. If you are at your resort, the DME Desk should be right there in the lobby and as to when you should report, you should get a notice slipped under your door either the day before you depart or the morning of departure and that notice will tell you when you should report to them to get on the bus back to the airport. Not sure if this helps but from our one time experience with the DME, Sept 08, this is the way it was for us.

If you go to this link it will lead you to a map of Orlando International Airport and on the secon page, bottom view-left, you will see Area S and that is the DME desk area. Hope this helps. http://www.orlandoairports.net/image...nding_maps.pdf I hope this helps you and anyone else who is seeking this information. I know last Sept it helpped my wife and I alot as it was our first time back there and we landed at 5:30am and even though it was early the place was busy. There are also signage around directing you to the DME desk.
