airfare

I am looking to book.....found airtran from whiteplains for $62 buck each way....add insurance of $60 and choosing our seats(we have 2 kids and don't wnat to be separated)bThant's $40 bucks for a total of 680 ronudtrip for the 4 of us. Is this good??? We don't really fly so......I think $62 each way is good but can I get that on other carriers that I would not have to pay a choose you seat fee????

We fly out of Denver in the past, (PDX now), and the fares I've paid ranged from $108 rt (that was a steal!:thumbsup) to $304 rt. To me, the fare of $62 each way sounds reasonable. I'm not sure about the insurance.

It sounds reasonable to me. Right now, Southwest is $99 each way out of BDL, so the $62 looks good

Sounds good to me. . .RT out of Detroit ranges $79 - $99 each way, on average.

That's a great price--especially out of White Plains. I'm paying $99 each way on JetBlue to MCO from WP in April.
