JetBlue Change Fee

I'm not sure when this took effect, but I just noticed that JetBlue's change fee is now $100. Last time I looked it was $40. We were half toying with the idea of adding an extra day to our May trip, since the fare has only gone up $10 since we bought. But for $100 change fee per person that idea is out the window.

I beleive that if you already booked your flights then the change fee would be what it was at the time of booking. Call Jetblue and speak with an agent about it, they can tell you for sure!

That's true. I think maybe we're going to leave well enough alone--at least for our budget's sake!!!

YikesCharging for a second bag, increased costs for overweight bags, charging for more for an aisle or window seat. And this wont be the end either

One time I called up JetBlue to change my flight and they waived the change fee, I just had to pay the difference in airfare. Doesn't hurt to try.

Wow! $100? I had to rebook a flight just a couple weeks ago and I only paid $40 to change it online. Now that you mention it, I have friends who just came home Fri from Florida and they wanted to change their flight (they landed in Boston at 1 am, and they have 3 kids) but she said it would have cost a LOT of money to change to an earlier flight.

Here I was hoping the fare would go down for the tickets I bought for the fall. I don't think they'll go down enough to make up for that kind of a change fee!!
