| If DME delivers our luggage late at night (some of you have said your bags arrived after midnight, for late-arriving flights), what do the resort CMs do? Do they knock on your door at 2am, and keep knocking until you wake up and open the door? Or do they call you on the phone at that late time? Or do they just keep them stored in the lobby somewhere, and expect you to call in the morning to have them delivered? I'm just wondering what to expect, as we're using DME next week, and fly into Orlando around 7pm.

| When we went to WDW last year, our front desk (POFQ) asked if we wanted the bags delivered when they arrived or did we want them held until the next morning. We asked that they be delivered, if the hour was reasonable, if not, hold them until the next morning. Well, I don't know what they defined as "reasonable", but we got a call at 2:00 AM asking if we wanted our bags delivered. I agreed and they brought them up. I was glad we had our things for the morning, but wasn't too happy about being awaken after a long day and late flight.

| One year our flight arrived quite late - after 10PM so by the time we checked in and such it was after 11PM. We had put the pjs and nightime stuff in our carry-ons because we knew it would late. The CM knocked very gently on the door around 1AM and they were great about bringing the stuff in ever so quietly for us. I do believe you can also have the bags held at the front desk/storage until morning if requested.

| When we arrived at POP in March, it was 1 am due to flight delays. We were told that they would not deliver after midnight, but would bring it first thing in the morning when we called luggage. Sure enough when I woke up there was a flashing message for me telling me to call bell services to get my luggage. The message had been left at 3:30 am.

| We arrived late and they gave us the option. They were very quiet with their knocking.

| I'd advise that you pack a carry-on with what you need for that night. Then, when you check-in, tell them you don't want the bags delivered until the next morning. You can call and ask to have them delivered once you're awake. Good luck! Eileen

| You can always pick up your bags and take them with you on the bus just don't put the yellow tags on them. Our flight arrives after 9:00 pm this time and we haven't decided yet how to handle it.

| We have never had any issues with DME during our stays at AKL, but POP was an entirely different experience. We had an evening flight (that arrived around 8:30 p.m.). I was expecting to see our luggage by 10 or 11 p.m., but that was not to be. When I called the front desk, they told us they were sorting and asked if we wanted our luggage delivered after midnight or the next morning. I requested the former, but then had to call again at 1:30 p.m. as it still hadn't arrived. At about 3:30 a.m., one of the CM's banged on our door, very loudly... it scared the heck out of my whole family! Very rude and completely without thought. I called to complained the next morning. During our AKL stays, our luggage was always delivered within 2 hours, regardless of our flight time. If you're staying at a value or moderate resort, where the rooms are much more spread out, I would probably recommend you pack evening essentials in your carry-on and have your luggage delivered in the a.m. Good luck!

| Thanks for all the great tips! I think we'll grab our luggage at the carousel, and carry them to the DME bus. We're early risers (love the EMHs!) and don't want to take any chances.

| The process is actually this. Auto delivery is halted between 11pm and 8 am. Between that time, if your bag is received, bell services will leave a silent voicemail (i.e., your phone will not ring but your voicemail indicator will light up). At that point, you can either call and have your bags delivered at that time, or you can wait until 8 am when they will be delivered automatically.
