| I asked this a week or so ago and that seemed to be the answer. I was bummed, but having to lug 3 less bags sounds nice...we'll make sure it's the three biggest and heaviest of course!

| I thought you could check more than that if you called BAGS ahead of time and paid any fees in advance. |

| That is true. But the folks who are bought tickets before the new policies don't have to pay a fee for their second piece, but have no way of proving it to the Disney folks.

| As long as you're taking the bags with you on the bus on your return trip to the airport, you can take as many as you want with no extra charges of any kind. The bus driver will stow them under the bus for you and unload them at the airport so it really isn't that big a deal. As Canadians, we deal with this on every Disney vacation and haven't found it to be a true inconvenience at all. Joy

| I just got back Friday night from WDW. I also bought my tickets before the restrictions and we had two bags each. No problem using Magical Express on the way to the resort but we were not allowed to use Resort Airline Check-In for the trip back to the airport because we had more than one bag each. You can take the bags yourself on the Magical Express back to the airport but you can't take advantage of the Airline taking the bags for you or for that matter they won't even print the boarding pass for you. |

| The Beach Club was beautiful! But the rain from Tropical Storm Fay was horrible. I paid for a standard room view at the Beach Club and when we walked in someone came over to us and said they had a "surprise" for us. He then took us up on the elevator to the 5th floor and low and behold we were upgraded to concierege. What a wonderful surprise. Nothing like that every happened to us. I wish we could always afford that kind of service. Unfortunately we couldn't go in the beautiful pool because of the rain. The convenience of the boats to the parks is great. We also love the Wilderness Lodge and will probably stay there again next time. |

| I think they do it just because they have rooms on that level that are not reserved. They are pretty expensive and I would think to fill the whole 5th floor of the Beach Club doesn't happen all that often. Actually, someone was walking down the hall in front of us on a cell phone and I overheard her telling someone that they were upgraded also. We really didn't do anything special - I didn't ask for an upgrade - we just smiled at the guy and he came over. I guess he was looking for people to "surprise". Bless him cause I could never afford to stay on that floor on my own. |

Yes there is. Print out your origional airline confirmation...that will have your booking date on it. When we used RAC at AKL last week (the 21st), all we had to do was show the lady our booking date. She said that flights booked prior to May 21st were exempt from baggae fees, as long as you had a confirmation with your booking date on it. Out party of 3 was able to check 6 ags without an issue! | |
