| RAIN RAIN GO AWAY!!!! Well we just got back from WDW and I have to say it was the worst weather I ever encountered there. Tropical Storm Fay really did a number on us. I know there are/were plenty of fellow Passporters down there at the same time and I'd like to hear how they handled all the rain. We arrived on August 13th and probably only had two or three days of partly sunny days and the rest was constant downpours. I don't mean the showers that you usually get on a summer afternoon - I mean pouring cats and dogs all day and night! My grandson was so disappointed that we couldn't go to Blizzard Beach or even in the pool for that matter. There were lots of days and nights we landed up staying in the room watching TV because it was just too awful to go outside. Even though this was the first time that this happened (been there 10 other times in August), I don't think I will chance going in the summer again. It won't stop me from going again next year but we will probably look into November or December. I still had a good time but the rain really dampened our spirits. |

| I know how you feel. I have been in WDW twice when that has happened to me because a of tropical storm and approaching hurricane. Once was in September and once was in October. On other trips when the weather is typically cold, I have had beautiful, warm weather. I guess you can never assume what the weather will do. I hope your next trip has better weather.

| A little off topic...my eldest DS often talks about the night 'we did ALL the rides' in Disneyland because it was raining heavily. We got lucky the downpour was whilst we were at dinner and by the time we were finished, we walked onto every ride except Dumbo (had been closed but reopened) and we were happy as pigs in mud...well kiddos in ponchos anyway - LOL!

| That's terrible! Our last trip was very rainy, not tropical storm rainy, but everyday we got drenched and looked like drowned rats much of the time. It definitely makes it hard to enjoy. I don't like that hot, sticky feeling! Yuck!

| On the 18th we were in EPCOT, so there was plenty to keep us entertained and out of the rain. The rain stopped long enough for us to ride TT. The 19th was off and on rain at MGM. Again when it rained we did indoor stuff like the Animation building and rode Star Tours over and over. Our only disappointment here was not having the Power Rangers and Lightning McQueen come out for meet and greets. The 20th was our last day and we spent it getting drenched in the MK. We didn't care. It was our last day and we were going to have fun. I changed into dry clothes before getting on the ME bus. Don't let the bad weather stop you from having a good time. It's just water (and a lot of wind).

| We were there from the 14th and left the morning of the 24th. Honestly, we tried not to let it slow us down. We put on the ponchos and went out, and the kids swam in the pool everyday since there was no thunder and lightning (until the last two days) I sat on the chair, drinking a frosty beverage with my poncho on and a towel on my head We really got a lot done, considering the weather. Walked on everything at EMH morning at MK on the 20th. The only real bad night was that night (the 20th) with the 30 mph winds and the cancelled IllumiNations. Otherwise, we just kept on going!! The only downfall was not having the characters out, and the photopass photographers
