| WWYD? We are flying out Indy for our trip in 2 weeks. Our flight leaves at 7am so we have to be at the airport quite early. We live 2 hours away. Originally, my mom was going to drive us over that morning. This would mean leaving around 3am. I just cannot do that to her. For one thing, she has to do so much for my dad and if she is up during the night or didn't get to go to bed early, I would worry about her driving back home alone. So I have been thinking of either A) having her drive us over the night before and us staying at a hotel with an airport shuttle; B) just getting up and driving over myself and leaving the car in short-term parking. C)driving myself over the night before and leaving the car in short-term parking. A) means having an additional hotel night, paying for gas for mom to make the trip twice, once to take us and once to pick us up on the return. Cost - approx. $130 B) means getting up almost before we go to bed to get over there. Expense of short-term parking. Cost - approx. $100 C) means additional hotel night, short-term parking. Cost - approx. $140 Driving over that morning is the least expensive, but also will mean being up practically all night. We will start the trip exhausted. So, what would you do?

| C - GET A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP AT THE HOTEL, YOUR CAR WILL BE THERE WHEN YOU GET BACK AND U DONT HAVE THE ANXIETY OF SOMEONE WAITING AND LOOKING 4 U AT THE AIRPORT WHEN U GET BACK, PLANES ARE LATE ETC, CAN BE A BIG MESS, ALL THE TROUBLE WE GO THROUGH TO GET THERE JUST MAKES IT MORE SPECIAL WHEN WE DO

| My vote is for C. We have this similar dilemma. We also live 2 hours from the airport & have decided that bringing our own car & not putting anyone out was the most worthwhile. This way once your plane arrives u don't have to wait for anyone to pick u up. Also, u will get a good night sleep before the flight. I think paying the extra night for the hotel is worth it. I am not sure if u have any children but we have 2 little ones & I couldn;t see driving 2 hours with them, waiting for the flight, flying for 2 1/2 hours, etc. all in one day. Good luck! |

| I would go with option C - that's what we always do whenever we fly from here. We have a relaxing night at a hotel the night before we leave and it feels like our vacation is started already and the car's there waiting for us when we get back.

| I am from Evansville and fly out of Indy. When we have had an early flight, we usually drive up and stay the night in a hotel and rely on the airport shuttle. During our last trip, our flight was later so we just drove up and parked. We parked in the most expensive lot (we wanted help with all our bags -- group of 6). We were gone 7 nights and it was only $42 to park...I hope parking hasn't increased that much as we will be paying to park this trip as well. Good luck in your decision. Just checked parking at Indy...it is cheaper to go long term parking (economy lot is $6.50 per day). I am not sure why Premiere was only $42 last time...maybe we got some Disney magic in Indy

| I would definately go with option C. It makes for a more relaxing vacation. Another option similar to C would be to check with your hotel and see if they will allow you to keep you car at the hotel for the length of your vacation (thus eliminating the airport parking charge) and using the hotel shuttle. Many hotels near the airport in Hartford and Providence will let you park for free as long as you spend one night.

| I would to B or C. B because to me - it's not that big of a deal to arrive at WDW tired. Once you get there, the tiredness seems to disappear! I've left that early before with my 6 yr old niece and we managed to stay up to watch Illuminations that same night. It's do-able. And you save more $$$ this way, which is the main reason! C would be an option if you truly are concerned about being tired. So who knows. I'm not much help..... ![]()
