| Driving route from to/from NE Ohio...my experience! We drove this last trip b/c I had shows to do and was pulling my trailer. On the way down, we went the I77/I95 route (show in Charlotte), but on the way home, we went out Western Way, up Florida's Turnpike and I75/I71. Even though the western route was a bit longer, it was definitely a much nicer drive! Granted, we hit Atlanta well after rush hour, so that might be a caveat you need to plan around. The mountains of WV are much more difficult than those in TN/KY and the roads seemed a lot less busy. My DDs said the best thing was no South of the Border signs! My gas mileage was also improved with the easier mountain sections. The drive out of WDW was SUPER-fast/easy, none of the Orlando I4 business and the scenery in general was lovely.

| Don't forget about the JRs tobbacco and the Ron Jon signs. ![]() We usually take the I77/95 route because it is shorter. The worst part is from Beckley to Wytheville. Although if I had a trailer I75 would be a better way to go.

| I hope not to drive I-95 never again! 4 years was enough! I enjoy I-75 & I-71 much more also. |
