Rental car

Hi guys,

Has any one rented a car using their BJ's memebership. I was attempting to get quotes last night and I didn't see a difference with ot without the BJ's car. Is it better to call?

Also, can you check a car seat as baggage on the plane?

Thanks!

We've rented with our Costco membership and saved a fair amount. I don't know how BJ's works their discounts but Costco lists "coupons" on their web site, such as "1 day free" or "free upgrade" plus the membership discount. I've had the best luck with Alamo in the past.

I have never checked a car seat but have seen others claiming them at the luggage claim so i believe you can... good luck!

National has had some great rates for the last couple of days. Sign up for the free Emerald club membership and use the $30 off e-code from the specials page. I got a full size for $130 including tax for Thanksgiving week. There are a lot of codes out there. Mousesavers lists many of them. Do you have an Entertainment book? They have coupons too. The other thing is check the rates constantly. Rental car rates fluctuate quite a bit.

I found really great rates at Alamo. The prices just went down, upgraded and still saved money. Look on line for coupon rates for any of the rental places. good luck

BJ's has coupons on their site with codes you enter. I saved $15 bucks on our trip. We got a FullSize for $89 for 5 days later this month. Here is the link.

You MUST prit out the coupon & bring it with you or they won't honor the price.

Edited to add that Bj's also allows you to add a free driver

The good thing about the Costo discount is it includes additional driver. Orlando car rentals will soak you for adding an additional driver. It's worth $70 for a week.
