Jet Blue just changed our Flights

FYI - I was to fly out of White Plains on Dec 7th and return Dec 13th. I got an e-mail from JB today saying that my flights had changed. Well, the new changes took almost 2 full days out of my trip so I called JB right away. To fly at the same times I had booked, I now have to leave out of JFK airport

I asked the reservationist if I was going to have the same problem with the JFK flights and she told me that, while there are no guarantees, flights out of JFK are rarely moved because that is JB's hub.

JB did not charge my any more $$ for changing the airport and they were as polite and respectful as could be.

My sister just called....she was flying out of Boston on the 4th of December and they just changed her flights as well. Nothing dramatic but they moved her flight up 3 hours hours but when you are only there for 3 1/2 days that 3 hours makes a big difference

I have always flown out of JFK - (which is where I am flying out of on the 4th as well) and the only changes they have ever made to my flights was a later flight coming back from MCO - which of course I never complained about).

Sorry for all the changes on your trip but as the Jet Blue reservationist said...it is very rare that they change the flights out of JFK dramatically.

Sorry they changed your flight. Spirit changed ours twice so far, through Atlantic City. At least we didn't have to switch airports though.

Hope everything works out for you

Thanks everyone. I might complain a little the day of the trip because White Plains is so close to my house but, hey, life is too short.

I think I'm right between the two - WP and JFK. We're scheduled out of White Plains now. I just checked and my flights are the same. However, my seat choices weren't there. They had DH and I in an emergency row and the kids weren't seated at all. So, thanks to this thread, leading me to check my flights, I was able to get us seated properly
