| Beginning to Flip Out! Okay it is official...I have gone from concerned about Hanna to flipping out about Ike! I feel silly worrying about my vacation when so many who live on the coast and in south FL have to worry about their homes and the potential damage Ike can cause. My main concern about my trip is getting there.....We fly in to MCO on Wed. afternoon and this is when Ike is supposed to hit. Will I even be able to get there?! Will the winds from Ike cause our plane to be grounded? Anyway...Thanks for letting me vent my worries! ![]() ![]() to all of you who are living in the paths of all these storms.

| I have the same concerns and the same guilt about Ike. We're driving (leaving in 5 days ) and I'm wondering if we'll even be able to get there; but at the same time I am feeling concerned for my friends who live on the Gulf who potentially have a lot more to lose than a vacation. for everybody potentially in Ike's path.

| I'm sure it will all work out. Donna- We drove home with a tropical storm after our first WDW trip. It and we were going the same way. It wasn't fun looking out the car window at sheets of rain all day, but it was doable and we did get home without incident.

| It's a distinct possibility that the airport will be closed if a hurricane is nearby. From personal experience, OIA closed a full day before Hurricane Frances struck in 2004 and remained closed for two days. for you and everyone in Ike's path.

| In the same boat here! (Hey, just a thought. Maybe we could all share a real one and tour MK that way) We're supposed to be staying in Daytona Tuesday night and then arriving at POFQ Wednesday morning. I'm terrified the roads will be closed and we won't be able to get into the resort. Then I'll have a two year old in a hurricane, with no place to stay! |

| No one should feel quilty about being concerned. Looking forward to vacation all the planning not to mention money, then there is the time factor, most people only have so many days off they cant change that. I know if something happens to delay us it will be a problem because she can not change her schedule. Yes people have even more concerns who live in the area's but dont feel quilty about being worried.

| I have been worried also. But after looking at projections today, my SIL and I decided to fly out on Tuesday instead of Wed. I know this is not a guarantee that we still won't be affected by it, but it does now give us some cushion of time. If anything, we get a little extra time in the parks on Wednesday! So we are grabbing our ponchos and braving the rain- even a rainy day in Disney is better than nothing. Pixie dust to everyone who is travelling in the next week, hope everyone arrives safe and sound.

| Me Vs Hanna tomorrow We are driving to WDW tomorrow from PA. I share in the same concerns as everyone since this will be our first time driving in a tropical storm/hurricane. I know that Jesus will protect us but I'm still very anxious over it all. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() For everyone traveling this weekend and next week.
