| information please I need some information about DME. I would like to know if you decide to go to baggage claim and get your luggage can you take it on the DME bus without to much of a problem. Our plane does not get into Orlando until 4:30 p.m. I think that with tthat late of an arrival time it would probably be late that night before they would deliver it to our room. It is just teo of us traveling so taking our luggege with us will be no pfroblem. I would sppreciate any information you could supply me with we will be goning in a couple of weeks. |

| You can bring your luggage on the bus, just do not put the DME tags on the bags. I dont think it matters what time you get in, we arrived at 11am last trip and we didnt get our bags until after midnight, although there was a rain storm and apparently the CM told us they do not deliver if its lightning out. Although no matter what time we get there, we will always use DME for the convenience issue, having to lug the bags around and then have to store them if the room is not ready...Id rather not worry about them either way, just pack extras in the carry on.

| Yup ... no problem. Just don't put the yellow tags on your suitcases or they'll never make it to the baggage carousel for you to pick up. Once you get your bags at the carousel, just go to the DME counter and check in. Nice and easy! Have a great trip!

![]() But, if you let them get your luggage for you it should arrive in your room no later than 3 or 4 hours after your plane lands.

| I think it depends on how busy they are, lately we've been waiting 4+ hours for our bags. But like others have said just don't use the yellow strips if you want to get them yourself and you will be fine.

| I would get my own luggage at the baggage claim then go to the DME to check in that way when you arrive at the hotel and check in there is no waiting for your luggage. Just be sure you do not have your disney tags on the luggage otherwise they are already seperated and you will not locate your luggage. Hope you have a great trip! Also, does anyone know if i can get a birthday cake delivered to my hotel room for my sisters birthday as a surprise? This way ,when we return from the parks her cake will be waiting.

| if you let DME take it, it'll probably get to your room by 6-7 pm in most cases. not all, but most. if your baggage claim is on the A side, you're going to be looking at adding a minimum of close to an hour just getting out of the airport since you'll have to go to 2A, claim the bags, back to 3A, cross to 3B, then down to 1B. and it's a lot of walking inbetween. basically, at 4:30 pm, your bags will probably end up getting to your room about the same time whether you claim them or not, but you won't.

| Great advice. I'd add that you could pack what you'll need for those (estimated) 4 hours as carry on. That way, you'll have what you need and can save yourself the hassle of picking up your own luggage. I've used DME for every trip since May 05 and have always found it a great service. I hope you have a similar experience! Eileen

| We've had both good and bad experiences with baggage delivery. Once it took almost 12 hours to get our luggage and the once it took less than 15 minutes after we checked into the room. I don't know if it mattered that the bad experience was when we stayed at a value resort and the good was when we stayed at the Contemporary, but I suggest that if you want to make sure that the bags are in your room before you go to sleep, bring the luggage on the DME yourself. I don't know if Disney wants to encourage people to collect their own luggage, but if you're worried about it, then just collect your luggage and then head to the DME.
