| Booking Airfare vent!!!! Ok here it goes. I just have to vent. I have been searching for airfare for our May trip. The best price I seen has been from jetblue 208 roundtrip from jfk to mco. well the price went up a bit to 213 roundtrip. my DH and I agreed we would wait for a sale. fine. Well Saturday morning I noticed JEtblue lowered the prices on the departing flight we wanted from jfk to mco to $89 . I also noticed Delta had the same sale $178 roundtrip.

| $178 sounds pretty darn good to me! But is Delta one of those airlines that charges the baggage fees? If so, that is definitely something to consider -- as those "hidden fees" add up QUICK! We booked our May airfare over the weekend with SW. We are paying about $264 pp RT, non-stop. This includes a little $26 credit I had. Good luck with finding a good fare!! |

thanks for your response . actually I know jetblue has no fee on the first checked bag but I didn't know DElta charges $15 for the first checked bag. Thanks for the tip. This changes things. I guess I just have to wait and see if something better comes my way from JEtblue. I wish I could book the one way for $89 with jetblue but DH wants to wait. Thanks again for the tip very helpful.

| If you go to farecast.com they have a fare predictor that tells you if fares are predicted to go up, down, or stay the same.

| I say book it - partially because I've had great experiences of the service on JetBlue, but I haven't heard such great things about Delta. :

| If you book it and the price goes down then you can get a credit for your next trip. If the price goes up then you can rub it in while you are laughing all the way to WDW. Good luck in the wait game.

| You're going to be hard pressed to beat $178 round trip!! I say book it~!~ If it goes down (by what $4 a ticket????!!!) Tell your husband "YUP I SCREWED UP" But better to screw up and pay $4 more a ticket than wait and pay $20 or $30 or MORE a ticket!!!
