I saw somewhere, just this weekend, that there is a charge for the use of WiFi on Airtran. Sorry, but I don't remember how much it cost.

I personally do not know - but as an air enthusiast (read: geek), I read several air travel blogs. This guy is living on AirTran for 1 month courtesy of Gogo WiFi so it must have something to do with it. Mark On AirTran

On this link, there is a podcast where The Cranky Flier interviews Mark (the guy spending 30 days on AirTran). http://crankyflier.com/2009/06/24/fi...n-airtran-lav/

We just flew Air Tran last week. Our flights from Bloomington to Phila did not have WiFi availble yet. Flight attendant said all planes should be up & running by end of July. Both Flights back to Bloomington from Phila had WiFi availble. Here is a link to the Gogo Inflight Internet info page. It seems pricing depends on the type of mobile Device you are using.
