| Reading these replies I just thought of how this mouse could have opened some eyes. I was bring quarters on the airplane to use for the rest rooms. What I was going to say is a similiar unrelated incident leaving Hawaii several years ago. We left our small carryon suitcase for customs to check. Customs were checking carryons regardless of the metal dectors, a physical check of everything, by everyone. While still waiting for my turn on the long inspection table I was telling myself I'm glad my wife (next to me) had the key as my lock was self locking and you needed a key each time you had to open it. In the meantime guess who had to go to the restroom--my step-daughter. No problem, my wife has the key. We soon reached the customs and they asked for the key We asked the custom agent why the inspection of everything and it was basically a plant inspection as many plants were allowed back to the mainland while some were not. I can't remember if I asked how the other non carry on luggage was inspected for plants.

| mmmm - I got mine at Walmart, so I'm not sure where else. I have to watch now, because when I bought them, I did it for the tubes, now my girls keep trying to put them in the cart for the M&M's. I would think any store that has a large candy selection. I've even seem them in some of our dollar stores.

| Yikes - You're under arrest We always bring the M&M rolls with quarters and pennies in them. Twice when our carry-on bag went through security in Boston they asked us to search our bags. The first time I was completely baffled by why they would want to, but of course agreed. IT was the rolls of quarters laid horrizontally and a bag of trading pins laid vertically in my bag. It looked like a gun.The second time it happened we told them what they would find in our bag and thanked us. Now we just take the baggies with the coins and pins and place them seperately in the plastic bins to be scanned. We haven't had a problem since. |
