| We always carried Samantha's meds in the weekly boxes. She was on some many meds that it would take a backpack to carry them all. No-one ever questioned it, but we took a list of the meds and the dr's name with. Also took a few extra days just in case something happened and we ended up stuck for a few days. |

| Okay, so after getting the runaround and searching diligently DH was finally able to talk directly to a supervisor at the TSA here in Norfolk. He was told directly that the pills do not have to be in their original containers even if they are controlled substances. You can transport them in the weekly containers. Thanks everyone for your responses and I hope it helps someone else too.

| Saxgirl, Coumadin patient here! I don't know why your mom was on an anticoagulant, but she might want to check with her dr. about staying on it if you are traveling any length of time. Blood clots are possible with long trips. Char
