Unhappy I wanna scream or cry...

Just got the lastest change to our flight....To start with I booked a non-stop flight from Minneapolis at 6:55 am, so we could get down to Orlando around 11:30-Noon. Pretty happy with the times.

Then we got the 1st email saying there would be one stop in Detroit for 45 minutes. Not happy with the lay over but we could live with it. Didn't add to much time to our arrival time.

Now I received yet another email saying now we have to leave to 6:30 am from Minneapolis to go to Detroit. Where we get to spend 2 1/2 hours waiting for our connection. grrrrrrrr. I don't wanna sit in Detroit.

I hate to whine but darn it I have been waiting for this vacation and my vacation plans do not include Detroit. Also traveling with my 2 DS's and my parents is going to stress me out enough with out a lay-over. If we can't change I really hope the Nintendo DS keeps the battery power for a 7 hour travel day.

Wish me pixies I am going to call Northwest Airlines yet again and see what we can do about this.

Are you stuck with these changes? When we booked Delta, we were originally on a direct flight, but then they switched us to one that had us stopping and would have had us getting late at night. I was so angry and I called them back and said no way...they said no problem and had me pick the flight I wanted and was able to do so with no added expense on my part. So I would definitely call them back and see what other options there are.

United did that to us for our up coming San Antonio flight. I called and said the flight was not working for us as my traveling friend had a work meeting he would miss. Which was the reason for the flight in the first place. They refunded the "NON-REFUNDABLE" ticket ASAP.
Of course I had already checked to make sure there was another earlier flight available for us. You may even ask if they will "protect" you. Meaning they find you the flight.
Good luck!!

hopefully they will be able to find you a better flight. Lynne is correct, when the airline changes your flight you are entitled to change it without penalty. I'd phone them.

I'm sorry . I hope they can switch you to something that works better for you. Oftentimes they can but they just automatically rebook you to something first and then you have to get them to fix it. Good luck.
