| Booking Airfare makes me !!! We do not fly often or should I say never. While waiting for airfare to be posted for our Feb. WDW trip, I was impatient. Once the rates were posted, I got crazy watching them daily........now I need advice from some veteran flyers. When the rates were first posted, they were 139 one-way (6 weeks ago). Now that 10 people have booked, the rate has jumped to 159 one-way. I am a very thrifty person so I am attempting to get the best deal but I am worried that the rates will continue to climb............HELP!!!!

| They will usually jump up and down for awhile! Not sure which airline you're flying.

| I have been watching Continental for a month and it has been going up and down almost everyday. Today the web is 2 days from my return date being posted and it went down $40 for each round trip ticket. If it is still down in two days I am purchasing it. I don't think it will go down any further than $218 round trip from Newark, NJ. |

| Airline tickets tend to go up and down a lot. One of my favorite sites to "track" prices is watchdogairfare.com. Don't wait too long before booking. Also, ticket prices often reflect what the national gas prices are. For example... I purchased three of our tickets in January at $138 round-trip. We added another person to our trip and her ticket was $454 for the same flights. I contemplated waiting for the ticket to drop; however, she is 12 years old and I could not "risk" not getting her on the same flight. Hope this helps, Kristy |

| It also tends to depend on the day of the week you're flying. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays tend to be cheaper days to fly than Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays.

| We've noticed they do jump up and down. At first, I panicked when they went up, but I lucked out and they dropped back down a few weeks later.

| We will only fly on Tues, Wed and Thursdays (unless we absolutely cannot) and that saves lots of $$$$. Have you checked Jetblue, Southwest and Airtran??? they seem to always have the best prices! I don't think I'll ever fly any of the other airlines again.

| Air fares vary considerably. Try to be patient, but don't wait too long. When you see what you want in an acceptable range, it may be time to buy. Good luck!
