| gum in airport Does any1 know if we can take gum with us thru airport before security?? Where isthis info on the TSA website?? We like to have gum to chew during take off and landing. TIA

| Well, if you chew the gum with the liquid center, maybe TSA would expect it to be in your 1 quart clear zip bag, but if it's just regular sticks of gum, they do not consider that to be either a liquid or gel - you should be fine.

| I have never had an issue bringing gum. I will say most airports I have traveled in don't sell gum as it is a mess issue. Bring it you will be fine! |

| Orlando airport does not sell gum. I learned that one a few years ago and the kids were mad becasue I cut the 2 sticks I had left and made them share

| Never had a problem with gum in the carry-on before. We tend to have a whole buffet of snacks with us, which has also always been "ok." (just no drinks unless you buy them AFTER the security checkpoint!) |

| I cannot fly without gum . I never had any problems with gum.
