| South West Questions on price guarantee I've heard about SW giving credits if your fare goes down. I booked in Sept. for travel in Jan. and have been tracking the fare on SW. My I want to Get away fare has risen significantly since booking, but I know fares go up & down. Soooooo, what do you do if you see your fare go down, lower than your purchase price? I've looked on their web site, and can't find anything. Do they refund you the difference? Or do you get a flight credit for future travel?

| If u see your fare go downcall SWA and u should get a credit for future travel. When we booked in april our fare was $82 each way. By July, they had gone down to $60 each way. We called and got a credit. We used the credit to book seats on same flight for my bf nick that decided to join us. Hope this helps.

| Note: The credit has to be used by 360 days from the day you booked. You can call or do it online. The first few times that I did this I called. It's less stressful that way. If you do it online, you cancel the trip, then rebook using the funds. I'm a nervous wreck doing it online. I usually have several windows open because I worry that the price will go up before I've had a chance to book the new rate.

| Thanks everyone. Guess I'll phone if fare goes down. I booked one way, for each. My flight down to MCO was $104, now it's gone up to $144

| Congratulations on a great deal! If the price does go down, you can go online and "modify" your reservation to the new price. I've done it several times without a problem. SWA will give you a credit for future travel, but the credit must be used within 365 days of the day you originally booked the flight.

| I would keep an eye on DING fares and the specials that they send out via email/newsletter. I've seen our area get great discounts that way. That's how I found the 50% off sale and it made it worth my while to change my trip dates to take advantage of a PIN =)

| you don't have to cancel your existing flight, you just go online and modify. you bring up your current reservation using your confirmation number. You will end up with a credit and it will appear in the ticketless funds area. You just go there, put in the confirmation number from the flight and name and it will show your credit. we have done it a couple times. |

| I'm watching!! I could take a little later flight going down to get a slight discount, but it would mean arriving at WDW later I love my 3:45 arrival time! Still gives me time to go to the parks. Hope there is EMH somewhere! My return flight has gone waaaaay up still.
