| Road Trip - Montana to WDW in 3 days... doable? Erin and I are driving this time to WDW. I'm flying from Alaska down to Montana and then from there we're off! I've got it down to three legs/days of road travel down First Leg - Gold Creek, MT to Omaha, NE (19 hours) Second Leg - Omaha, NE to Memphis, TN (11 hours) Third Leg - Memphis, TN to Coronado Springs Resort (13 hours) are we crazy? we'd be driving in shifts... ETA - ok so Erin found a quicker route so now I'm all confused lol we'd be driving by not through Omaha and Memphis... hmmmmmmmmm ETA 2 - Okay, forget all that we've revised the travel plan... now it'd be: First Leg - Gold Creek, MT to Sioux City, IA (15 hours) Second Leg - Sioux City, IA to Nashville, TN (13 hours) Third leg - Nashville, TN to Coronado Springs Resort (10.5 hours) a little more doable.... we're talking about taking the other trip on the way back home.

| Hey! If you do this, I live in Memphis, maybe we can meet for a meal or something (like breakfast before you leave or whatever)! And I think this is doable - exhausting, but doable. Are you crazy, you ask? Hm. Possibly! But if you've got the time and are looking for some adventure, I say do it. It's a wonderful way to see the country, even at 65 mph!

| Those are some long days Toni. I drove from home to Edmonton with an over night. Second day was a 10 hr one, and it almost killed me. I couldn't wait to get out of the car, and I stopped for meals, etc. Is 4 days feasible? Or too much time taken out of WDW?

| I think teh mentality is - it's too much time on the road/too much eaten out of Disney. we'll be switching off doing shifts of 4 hours or so, though Erin loves to just GO so, we'll see. We're also planning a couple of stops for photos (I want a dang picture of the Mississippi as I didn't get one when I was in St. Louis!)...

| Memphis sounds like a great stop. Hope you will have some time to see a few sights. I've always wanted to go to New Orleans. That would be one of my stops.

| Oh, do you have a GPS? I have one (Tom-Tom) and love it. It comes with me to Florida! I got a great price on one in the after Christmas sales! Up here we call it Boxing Day sales!

| It is definitely doable since you can share the driving. I drove from Eastern Virginia to Missoula, Montana, over four days all by myself! If I can do that, you can certainly do the three day drive. What fun! You'll have a great time!

| It is do-able. Be certain to take breaks--get out and stretch your legs. Power naps of 20-30 minutes work great. Also, check for road construction on your route. I like to drive because it gives you such great flexibility. Have a great and safe trip! |
