| I was the only one out of 7 who got sick -almost like food poisoning- sick out every way possible but when we got home or friends went to Disney 2 weeks later and they both had the throwing up and diarreha-she got sick on a bus. I'm just wondering if it was something we all ate. My kids didn't get it so I don't think it was a virus because Hayden licks everything despite trying to stop him. Sorry for the gross details-sickness lasted 3 days with physical sickness and then took a week to get strength back.

| been sick twice at WDW once in 2004 (food poisoning from teh room service pizza at Pop) and the last trip I had a severe sinus cold (I was out of it for the last half of the trip, and you can tell in the pics) ... from reading the boards while we were down there apparently it was a cold going around WDW castmembers were getting it, too. Erin didn't get sick, even with me trying to die in the same room lol

| I was sick with a stomach bug on our trip last December. It hit me in the middle of MVMCP and I was out for the rest of the trip Anyway, I was thankful the rest of the gang didn't get sick and I was well enough to fly home a couple of days later. The CM at the front desk of Pop was very helpful when my DH went down there at about 3 a.m. to get me some meds -- he opened the gift shop for him and wrote down what he took and charged it to our room the next day.

| I'm sorry that happened to you. Both DH and I were sick on our last trip this past June, but thankfully, it was a short lived thing and didn't slow us down too much. We think it may have been from the heat and not drinking enough water. ![]()

| I caught a cold last November while visiting there. I blamed the people coughing on the plane ride down. I had to take one day to just sleep and take in plenty of fluids then was able to enjoy the rest of my trip.

| DW got very sick when we went down a couple of weeks ago. She felt as though it was the fried shrimp from the T Rex restaurant. She almost missed the MNSSHP but I ran out and got her some meds and she pulled through...

| Last Jan. on our 2nd day my dd (24) got the stomach bug, fever, etc. She was out for 2 days, then sorta recovered. It was a short 5 night trip so half of it she was out of action. But I didn't get the bug. Oddly enough, that was the first time I took sanitizing wipes with me, and when we arrived, I wiped everything in the room, phone, tv remote, handles, door knobs, counters, everything! Ironic isn't it? That was the first time any of my family got sick at WDW

| The plane is a haven for germs. DS got sick once about 3-4 days into the trip with a fever. On another trip my BF got sick for almost the whole week with cold symptoms..again blaming the germs on the plane.
