| Before the restrictions on liquids, DH and I rarely checked luggage. Now I can't do it because I gotta have my particular brand of mousse and hairspray, which don't come in travel sizes

| We've done it last year for a cruise. It was great! It worked out perfectly. A big plus is that you never have to wait for your stuff. Roll everything, prioritize and get travel size product. Good luck!

| BTW, limit yourself to 2 pairs of shoes. On pair on you and an extra pair in your carry on. If you take more you just lose too much space.

| If you travel with me that's the rule "carry-on only." My sister was appalled but was surprised to find out she could do it. Your choice of clothing is well thought out and all unnecessary items are left behind.

| Good luck w/ the packing. I'm sure it can be done. I don't know if I could do it. I overpack all of the time.

| I think it can be done, especially since it's been so hot down there (no warm clothes needed)! ![]()

| My SIL did carry on only for their 9 night vacation in Sept with us. They had to do laundry twice and had us bring all the liquid stuff for them (we drove). We also took home several bags of souvenirs for them. |

| I did a 5 day trip with just my carryon. I figured I could do a load of laundry if I needed to. I wore my one pair of capri's on the plane, plus I wore my light jacket to save space. The tricky part for me was the liquids but I did find travel sizes of most stuff and switched to styling gel for the trip since I found a travel size of that but couldn't find any styling mousse in travel size. I also used the resorts shampoo and bought the one bottle of sunscreen that I needed at the resort. I did put a duffle bag in it and when I came home, I used the duffle bag as my carryon bag and put souveniers in it and checked my original carryon bag. I looked at when you are going and one thing for you is that you may need some fleece, like a fleece jacket and a pair or two of long pants because April weather can change from hot to chilly in a flash. It did for us over our April spring break trip but we drove so I had the extra items we needed in the car already.
