|  I've never been able to get my iPhone(s) to work in the air. AirTran has started wireless internet on their flights - here's hoping more companies jump on that bandwagon!

| thanks!! I was just hoping to listen to pandora radio if possible. I am flying jet blue this time.. I dont think they have wifi |

| I didn't know you could operate any devise with internet on a plane! Is this new? Cause when ever I fly the flight attendant always says to turn off any device like cell phones, and internet while in flight or use airplane mode. I'm so excited my cell phone provider in Canada is finally getting the I Phone in a few weeks!! yay! I want one!

| nope but u can listen to ur ipod u cant have radios on airplains as they can interfear with the planes instuments

| sorry to confuse you yes I have airplane mode, i was just wondering if it would work in that mode. I have one song on the ipod part lol I love Pandora radio and dont have to downlaod anything there. |

| airplane mode turns off all wireless communications. not even wifi is available. technically, the guideline is that all transmitters must be turned off. a radio would be okay because it only receives information. wifi is not because it transmits as well as receives. but it's entirely up to the airline to enforce.

| I always put mine on airplane mode and just listen to my ipod on it. That topic always makes me nervous  Anything that might interfere with keeping my butt in the air until I'm am supposed to be back on the ground needs to be off

| then I shall keep it in airplane mode, I always shut the phone off when the say to besides jet blue has tv's in the seats I am sure that will keep me entertained. |

| yeah, they had tv's on continental too for my vegas trip I loved it I watched HSM lol . I am excited this is my first jet blue flight |
