| Our luggage did not make it onto our plane and I am clueless as to why We stayed at Pop and flew SW. We got to use RAC since they were still testing it while we were there. Great! I was ecstatic!! I checked the bags with RAC at about 6:30 that morning. We left MCO at 6:30 that night. Got to Buffalo...no luggage...bunch of other people too. I talked with a woman there...stayed at Pop, checked her bags with RAC that morning, we took the same direct flight from MCO to BUF...she got all her bags. I heard one of the women who's bags were lost talking to the guy at SW...she came from another flight...so MCO was her connection. She only had like a 30 min layover. Said she saw her bags on a cart outside as we were taxing away for the gate. Apparently my bags were on that cart as well. I can see why hers didn't make the plane...but mine??? I checked them with RAC 12 hours before my flight??????? SW was great though...they arrived the next morning on a 10:55 flight. I live close to the airport so I picked them up...they gave me a $50 voucher.

| Same thing happened to us in April...and oodles of other people on our flight. The story we got is that apparently Disney contracts someone (not DME) to actually transport the luggage. And the ball was dropped somewhere with them... ?? It took a few days, but we got our luggage! |

| Glad you got your luggage and that they gave you a voucher for your trouble! That stinks but at least it was on the way home and not when you got to Disney!

| This has happened to me before...but not coming from Disney. The reason I was given is that some bags are held back for "further screening" and sometimes don't make the flights they are supposed to be on...makes no sense to me... |

| Well, at least it was on the way home. Last time my bags didn't make my connection to Ft. Lauderdale, it was on the way there, and I was staying at a hotel for one night in the area, as it was a very late arrival, was promised my luggage first thing in the morning, and didn't get it until 5pm Glad you got your luggage and got some compensation! SW rocks!

| Glad to hear you got your luggage the next morning and a voucher from SW. Very strange that your bags didn't make it on the flight.

| I love, love, love SWA. 2 magical things have happened to us with SWA. #1. I lost my passport in the airport-not on the plane~Yikes! They called me on phone, checked my name etc (made sure I was the real me) then they sent it overnight delivery with a nice note! It was flippin' awesome! #2 and this is funny~our luggage was mixed up with someone elses. Come to find out someone else had picked up our suitcase (same brand-black) and called SWA when they realized. We too had picked up their luggage (what are the odds of that?) The person that had picked up ours was returned it to the airport. SWA offered to deliver our bags to our house (about 45 miles away) , but guess what? The person who had our luggage lived in our town! So, we worked it out between us and did a swap down the street. too funny. But, SWA was willing to deliver the bag to our house! They are great!
