DME for British Guests

Has anyone from the UK used Disney's Magical Express recently?

Our tickets arrived yesterday BUT I was a little surprised not to find any yellow DME tags, or any other information about DME, except a single A4 sheet which basically said "take your airline luggage check in slips to the DME counter and Disney will do the rest".

This is significantly different to last year's procedure!

Has anyone used DME from the UK recently? How did it work for you? What process did you follow? And most importantly of all . . . did you get your bags?

I only used it on the way back in May, but I do remember getting the luggage tags - in fact, I've still got them, as I never used DME to get to Disney World. To be honest, I'd already decided to take my own luggage. Now they've changed the procedure and you have the option to keep your luggage with you after clearing customs, that's what I chose to do - I couldn't see the point in waiting around for it for a second time. Maybe that's what DME are assuming all UK guests will do?

Just got back from WDW and met so many nice British people!!
I did not get my tags either and just gave my baggage receipts to the Disney people and they took care of the rest and then I rode the DME to the hotel. My bags were there a couple of hours later. I assume it would be the same for British travelers, as there were some on the DME with me, but I would call Disney to make sure.

Have fun!!!!
