| Mineral make-up in my Carry-on? Does anyone know if I'll have an issue with having my BareMinerals makeup in my carry-on? I didn't know because of it being a bunch of powders if that was an issue. All the websites say liquids and gels only for the quart size baggie thing, but this stuff is expensive. The last thing I want is to have it taken |

| The last timeI flew I didn't have a problem taking my bareMinerals in my carry on. And I have never heard anything about powerders not being allowed, but if you are very concerend you could call your airline or email through the TSA website.

| You shouldn't have an issue with powders. Only liquids.

| I have never had a problem carrying anything mineral-, powder-, or even "gel"-based (like the kind of eyeliner that you apply with a brush out of a glass jar) getting through security, including lipsticks -- and I am a make-up-of-all-sorts carrier! The only thing I put in my 3 oz. quart-sized baggie are my mascara, any liquid make-up like cover-up, lipglosses, etc. However, if in doubt, and you have the room, you might as well pack in the baggie. Because I hear you about the $$! ![]()

| I always carry on my minerals. But the last time I flew AA (in Oct), there was a sign saying that they may test powders you are carrying. I hadn't heard anything about this before then. But they made it sound like they would take a sample and test it. (To check for explosives??) I never checked any further on that. I didn't see any notice like that on my recent travels with Southwest. I flew to DFW, and since they are the AA hub, maybe that's where they test out possible new policies?

| nope! It's not a liquid, I brought all of my L'Oreal Mineral Makeup in my carryon last time, and the containers are much larger than the bare minerals containers - you'll be fine.
