Getting from MK to BC with WDW transport...

What is the "easiest" way to get between MK and BC? I know I could take a bus, but can we also take the monorail to/from Epcot? If so, which way is usually the quickest and least crowded? Thanks!

IMO, I think you are better off taking the bus. More direct.

I would definitely take the bus. You can walk over to MK and get a bus to BC. If you take the monorail to EPCOT it is definitely longer.

The problem with taking the monorail from MK to Epcot is that you would then have to enter Epcot and walk back to World Showcase and leave through the International gateway to get to BC. So, yeah, definitely not the easiest way.

As others have said, the bus is the fastest and most direct route.
I have done the monorail route and the walk through Epcot and the International Gateway to do this exact thing, but that is because I love riding the monorail!
It is a fun way to get there, but you need to make sure you have plenty of time to do it!

I'd take the bus. I don't know that the hassle of bag check and entering Epcot is worth it.

I also think it sounds like a "fun" way to make the trip, especially if we had some time to waste. But....Sounds like I would need park hoppers anyway, just to cut through...

I would opt for the bus. If you take the monorail, you have to change monorails at the TTC. Once you get to Epcot, you would have to walk through Epcot to World Showcase to take the path to the BC.

If we are not in a hurry we like to take the monorail from MK to Epcot. Our DS loves to ride the monorail. Once at Epcot we sometimes just take a stroll through the World Showcase and pick up a refreshing beverage before heading back to BC. You would need the parkhopper to do this though.

The bus is the most direct route.

That being said, I had the single-most-horrible transportation experience in all of my WDW visits on a BC to MK bus..... waited over 30 minutes for a bus to come, it filled up to standing-room-only at our stop, then it still stopped at the other Epcot resorts.... almost an hour to get to MK.... and this was at 4PM....

Yes, the Epcot resorts share bus service. I don't know the order of stops, or if they all share, or if it's split up. But it's still your fastest option. You do need park hoppers to use the monorail to get from Epcot to BC, as you are entering the park.
