Car Rental Prices Dropping Fast! Doing the Happy Dance ! Last week I redid my National EA ressie for my Dec trip, and the total including taxes dropped to $144. I thought that was great! I tried again today just for fun and it was down to $130 including taxes for a full sized EA using the old DC code, coupon and NHOL code! That's cheaper than using a towncar round trip with tip! We don't use the car a whole lot during our trip - but my husband doesn't like to be without, just in case! At these prices - why not?

Re: Car Rental Prices Dropping Fast! Thanks for the heads up. I just checked my February dates again, but the rates remained the same. Maybe in another month.

Re: Car Rental Prices Dropping Fast! I called yesterday and reconfirmed our ressie with National for next Monday. Gave them the NHOL code to add and it dropped our rate another $10. Every little bit helps. Lynda

Re: Car Rental Prices Dropping Fast! Thanks for the info! I had just redid ours last week (added EA and up to a full-size) so I just checked again and saved another $15.

Re: Car Rental Prices Dropping Fast! What is the old DC code? I tried w/the one from the website & still got a rate of $190 a week for a full size. I have a good rate with Dollar but I'd rather use National if I can get a good rate with them! Thanks!

Re: Car Rental Prices Dropping Fast! This sounds great. But a Towncar is around $80 round trip, plus tip. We like having a car too, just in case. Also great for a dinner off property. Susan

Re: Car Rental Prices Dropping Fast! Yeah What Peg said. I am looking for Discount codes also. I have yet to book my car for Dec. What does NHOL mean anyway. I have to look for my DC code. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Re: Car Rental Prices Dropping Fast! We are planning a trip for January 2003 and just reserved a minivan (Dodge Caravan or similar)from Dollar for $199 per week with CARD code. The regular rate for a minivan is usually more like $400. We are looking forward to having plenty of room for ourselves and all our stuff, as well as having better visibility when driving.
