request opinions on Delta Airlines

We were able to book great flight times on nonstop flights from Nashville to Orlando on Delta (through Expedia). We have never flown this airline before. Any suggestions for us, or comments on their performance? Thanks

Re: request opinions on Delta Airlines

We fly Delta every trip to WDW out of Hartford. We have always had excellent luck and have never arrived late or had delays of any kind. In fact, we almost always arrive early! Direct flight times are rarely if ever changed but sometimes they do change connecting flights so check your itinerary periodically to make sure it stays the same. You can do this through www.delta.com.

We always fly Delta from Boston to Orlando. Our experience with them has also been very positive -- on time, courteous service. We always book direct flights and have never encountered flight changes.

Hope your experience is also good.

Re: request opinions on Delta Airlines

Delta is the 'preferred' airline of WDW. I like it well enough. Most airlines are great. Good luck and have a wonderful time!!

Re: request opinions on Delta Airlines

We have flown Delta from Newark to Orlando with no problems in the past. Fly Song now handles most of the old Delta Express flights, although it is the same airline. Song is Delta's answer to Jet Blue. Anyhow, why don't you try flysong.com or Deltaairlines.com to see what times they are flying before you look for discounted fares elsewhere. At least you will know what you are looking for exists and then you can decide a discount is worth giving up planned flight times.

Re: request opinions on Delta Airlines

We flew Delta to Orlando this May. I just happened upon great airfare. The flights were on time, even a few minutes early. the only difficulty we had was getting our luggage. We waited a long time. Our Tiffany Town Car driver said that was a common occurance with Delta. We did have a connecting flight though. I don't know if that made a difference or not.
